Comfortable Cruising

Sweden Yachts Comfort 34 Sloop, Queensland

Stepping out of the cockpit down the five companionway steps into the main saloon, the first thing you notice is the use of quality mahogany in the fitout. This rises from the cabin sole up until the deck level and then from there you have white cabin sides and coach roof complemented with timber cover strips. This gives both a warm and cosy feel below decks without being too dark.

To port of the companionway you have the large U-shaped saloon seating around the drop-down table that converts to another double berth if the need arises.

Opposite the saloon and slightly to the aft of the galley, is the dedicated forward facing navigation area including all the electronics and nav gear. The desktop lifts to reveal storage under and has four draws for all manner of items below. The nav table seating also has storage below.

Moving forward in the saloon and still to starboard is the galley complete with one chest fridge and one upright fridge.

Forward of here again you will find two large lockers behind full length doors. Opposite this to port is the good-sized head/shower cabin with large vanity bowl and storage under.

From here forward the full sized V-berth has large opening deck hatch, shelving forward and stowage under. This can be converted to two singles, again, if the need arises.

Back through the saloon past the companionway and under the cockpit is a large double berth with storage to both port and starboard. Portside is a long shelf arrangement while starboard side is in a locker. The blue upholstery and cushions in the saloon are in good condition. To complete the package, the teak and holly cabin sole runs throughout the yacht. Access to the bilge is amidships on centre-line.
