Main deck.

As you step aboard, you’ll notice the broad extended stern platform that serves as the centre for your water sports fun. The VersaChock tender davit system provides secure storage and easy launch of a substantial tender. Retrieval is also stress-free with the winch provided.

As you begin moving through the transom, you’ll notice that there are two deep storage lockers for any wet gear facing outward.

Your first impression as you enter the cockpit will be of the huge amount of space and the large U-shaped lounge area with a folding leaf dining table. This can be made into a daybed too. This is the perfect place to chill enjoying the water views and listening to your favourite music through the newly installed Fusion audio system and its power amp with uprated speakers.

On the port side of the cockpit is the wet bar incorporating a sink with a water purifier fitted to the tap.

Ahead of the cockpit lounge is the comprehensive helm station with all your systems in easy reach. A Garmin touchscreen plotter/sounder was recently fitted providing you with up to the minute position and depth. A Control Max Sidepower controller manages your bow thruster and stern thruster combination while manoeuvring in tight spaces. Paired with the twin shafts, docking this cruiser is as easy as they come.

The helm station includes a co-pilot’s seat and across the aisle there’s even a forward-facing lounge seat for those that like to see where they’re going rather than enjoying the rear of the cockpit.

To reach the expansive foredeck and sunlounges, it’s an easy walk along the side decks which are relatively broad and easy to step up onto from the cockpit. The railings are safe and sturdy and there’s plenty of hand holds for those older family members or even the very young ones!

Lower Deck

The companionway down to the lower cabin area is easy to manage and leads to a veritable climate-controlled haven. It’s fully airconditioned which offers a peaceful night’s sleep on those hot summer evenings but equally, there’s plenty of windows and deck hatches to encourage cool breezes.

As you enter, you’ll note the galley to your left ahead of the bathroom and another spacious lounge area opposite the galley. This lounge can be converted into another sleeping area once the table is removed.

The galley offers loads of storage, a two-plate electric cooktop and a microwave, both of which can be run from the generator when at anchor. Under the Corian benchtop is a combination fridge freezer and more storage.

The forward double island berth will suit both the taller humans and those that like a step up to their bed. It even has storage drawers underneath to compliment the hanging lockers to the side. This forward cabin features a sliding pocket door for complete privacy.

The aft cabin includes an L-shaped lounge to one side and a large double berth under the cockpit sole which also offers privacy due to the nature of it having a bulkhead between the bed and the main saloon area. There’s also a privacy curtain for extra discretion.

The bathroom is comparatively large and offers a separate shower enclosure, a VacuFlush head along with a basin and storage.

Engine Room

The electric lift engine hatch doesn’t require the removal of half the cockpit cushions and the unclipping of the rear canvas, it’s just the press of a button to get access.

Once you step down into the bay there’s even enough room for an average bloke to move between the big MerCruiser 8.1 S HO Horizon 420 hp freshwater cooled engines. It’s easy to do your daily visual and fluid checks. The Onan 6kVA generator is in the middle at the transom, also easy to get to.

Here’s the great things about these engines:

• The exhaust manifolds and risers were replaced in April 2020.
• The engines and the generator were serviced in December 2022.
• The V-drive gearboxes are easy to access.
• The seacocks and strainers are easy to access for checking.
• They sound spectacular!
