The Vivace 125′ or Fast 125' as her design is now known, compliments the Benetti Fast Displacement range’s flagship Veloce 140′ and is influenced by her construction technology, styling and layout. As of today, more than six units have already been sold and launched.

With a length of 38.1m and a beam of 8.3m, built in composites and carbon in the Viareggio yard, the Vivace 125′ is a three decked (plus the sun deck) semi-wide body yacht. The sporty exterior was designed by Stefano Righini with a widespread use of horizontal windows that accentuate the streamlining, together with a remarkable central structure in the side of the superstructure that covers the access stairway to the upper deck.

Just like the name suggests, the superyacht is heavily inspired by Marvel’s fictional character Iron Man. The young owner is a huge fan of Tony Stark’s love for technology and wanted the same in his yacht.

The interior design work was commissioned to UK design firm Redman Whitely Dixon who managed to bring in a mix of the latest technology and shroud the interior with art-deco style décor that does not fail to impress all who board the yacht. The ceiling is finished in black and white, there is an extensive use of grey wood and dark glass on various elements but it’s the crystal dining table that tops it all.

Sharp and dramatic, her interior boasts accommodation for 10 guests in 5 staterooms, which include a lavish Master Suite on the main deck. The two queen VIP cabins and two twin cabins are located amidships and all are serviced by ensuite bathrooms.

Having a hull design that is termed Fast Displacement means that the hull form gives the yacht the advantages of a displacement hull at low speeds, with those of a planing hull at fast speeds. This is sometimes referred to as D2P or Displacement-to-planing.

Superyacht Iron Man is propelled by an Azipull Rolls-Royce AZP65C azimuthing pod drives powered by two MTU 16V 2000 M94s rated at 2600hp each. This combination enables the vessel to achieve a maximum speed of 22-24 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. Furthermore, while cruising at 12 knots the yacht has a range of 1,250 nautical miles.
